- 1 15-ounce can black beans drained, liquid reserved (or use Basic Black Beans)
- 1 clove garlic finely chopped, or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1½ tablespoons tahini
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin optional
- ÂĽ teaspoon paprika plus more for garnish
- â…› teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 10 sliced Kalamata olives for garnish
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients except the olives. Pulse and then scrape down the sides of the processor. Pulse again, then spoon into a serving bowl. Garnish with paprika and olives.
- Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
