Ingredients

For The Crust

  • 1 Cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 1 tbsp sugar granulated white

Cheesecake Filling

Instructions

  • Combine gelatin and a quarter cup of water in a small mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  • Combine all the crust Ingredients in a separate bowl then spread the mixture in a round cake pan.
  • Use a spoon to press the crumbs so that you create a solid crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator.
  • In a small mixing bowl mix green tea powder and warm water. Let the powder fully dissolve, then set aside.
  • In a separate bowl mix cream cheese and white sugar until smooth. Add yogurt and heavy cream to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Add the green tea to the cream cheese mixture. The mixture should be light green in color.
  • Heat the already solidified gelatin mixture in the microwave until it melts. Add to the cheese mixture.
  • Now pour the cheese filling to the crust and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate for six hours. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

If you want to freeze the cheesecake, you can do so in the refrigerator for up to 6 hours. It needs to set overnight in the refrigerator. You can also make this dessert in advance and freeze it. But make sure to allow it to chill in the fridge for at least two days. Keep in mind that this cheesecake is best served cold. After the cheesecake has chilled, it will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.
