Vietnamese Jackfruit salad

The Vietnamese jackfruit can be bought from Asian markets in the United States. You should peel it and slice it thinly. To make the Vietnamese jackfruit salad, the pork and shrimp should be peeled, and the jackfruit is cooked until it is tender. In this way, you can enjoy the salad without having to worry about frying it. The jackfruit will be soft and juicy, and you can make it a vegetarian meal.

Notes

If you don't have a jackfruit plant, you can purchase it canned. You can use both raw and grilled varieties. Before you prepare the salad, prepare the pork and shrimp by soaking them in cold water and then slicing them thinly. Once the jackfruit is soft, it should be rinsed in cold water and squeezed out gently with a clean dishcloth. Once you have all the ingredients, you can add the shrimp and pork to the bowl.
