  • 1 package instant ramen
  • 1/4 sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 slices American cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the ramen noodles, along with the onion and the contents of the ramen seasoning packet in a medium saucepan according to the package directions.
  • One minute before the end of the cooking time, crack the eggs into the pot. Pierce each egg yolk with a chopstick, but don’t move the eggs around too much.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and add the cheese, stirring gently to met it into the broth.
  • Serve hot.

SUBSTITUTION TIP: If you want to add some meat, then thinly slice 2 slices of Canadian bacon and  add it a few minutes before the end of the cooking time.
