Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the mirin, sesame oil, garlic cloves, ginger, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat.
Transfer the chicken and sauce to the slow cooker, cover with the lid, and cook for 5 hours on low.
Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and shred with a fork. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker and keep warm until ready to serve.
Serve hot over rice or inside lettuce wraps.
