Instructions

  • Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, add in all of the ingredients for the sauce. Whisk until smooth in consistency. Set this mix aside.
  • Prepare the meatballs. In a separate bowl, add in all of the ingredients for the meatballs except for 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the sliced green onions. Stir well to mix.
  • Shape this mix into balls that are 1 to 2 inches in size.
  • In a skillet set over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add in the meatballs. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs. Allow to come to a simmer. Cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve immediately with a garnish of sliced green onions.
