  • Combine water, butter, a pinch of salt in a saucepan then bring to boil. Add flour, mix and stir cook for some few Minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is beaten well.
  • Pour the dough in a bad with a pipe and nozzle then make a large spiral at the base of your springform pan.
  • Freeze so that the base is firm.
  • Preheat an oil pot to 350F then fry the churo until golden brown on all sides.
  • Transfer the churo to a plate then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Reserve the churo in a springform pan.
  • Prepare the filling by combining cream cheese, milk, vanilla extract, and unflavored gelatin.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture in a churo base then refrigerate for four hours.
  • Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Enjoy.

Notes

When making a Churro Cheesecake, you can imitate the traditional fried churros by adding cinnamon and sugar to the cream cheese mixture. You can also substitute caramel sauce for the nutmeg and vanilla. This dessert can be served chilled or at room temperature. You can freeze the leftover cheesecake for up to 3 months. Before serving it, let it thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
