Put the oil in a pan and heat it, sauté the onions and garlic in it.
Add the minced meat and cook too.
Pour off the fat a little.
Add the ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, chili, sugar, salt and pepper.
Brush the toast slices with the butter, divide the minced meat between two slices of toast. Pour the cheddar on top and cover with the other slice of toast.
Place the toast slices in the contact grill until nice grill marks have formed and the cheddar has run off.
